Team del Sol

Team del Sol is the only National-level Synchronized Skating program in San Diego who proudly represent the San Diego Figure Skating Club (SDFSC). Shining Blades and Team del Sol typically hold tryouts on the same day each year to ensure that skaters are placed onto appropriate teams based upon their skating abilities and age.

The Shining Blades begin a skater’s synchronized skating journey from as young as 6-8 years old. As skater’s skills improve, they may try out for Team del Sol, who are competitive at the national level and have had  teams represent the United States of America in the prior years.
